The Story From Within

New York, NY — August 2025

Serving as the capstone exhibition for Keshad Adeniyi’s residency with The Laundromat Project, this iteration of A Note From The Field centered the voices and creative works of New York City youth impacted by the criminal legal system. Combining student paintings, original audio works, and Adeniyi’s own visual practice, the exhibition reflected the core values of The Story From Within—a program that uses storytelling and creative expression as tools for healing, sociopolitical reflection, and community transformation.
